Date & Venue: 23 - 25 September, 2026, Diamond Jubilee Expo Center, Dar es Salaam - Tanzania.
The 27th Buildexpo 2026 - International Trade Expo on Building & Construction Products, Equipment. & Machinery, is the largest trade event held annually in Tanzania. The exhibition attracts exhibitors from more than 30 countries and visitors from all over East & Central Africa, thus giving exhibitors an excellent opportunity to explore several countries in one time.
Over the past few years, Tanzania has emerged as a major regional trade centre. This is mainly due to the very friendly and businesslike atmosphere it offers to foreign investors and products. Duties are considerably low and re-exports to neighboring countries are either very low or exempted.

The company was established in October 1960 with an initial objective of developing the ‘Aluminium and Steel Industrial Complex’ in Tanzania. Since then, ALAF (formerly called Aluminium Africa Limited) has established itself as a leading producer of steel roofing and related products in the country. In its endeavor to provide world class roofing products, ALAF Limited graduated to using Aluminium-Zinc steel coating technology in 2010, thus manufacturing roof sheeting that offers a much longer service life than traditional zinc coated (so called “galvanized”) steel.
