Borno Spends N15 Billion On Agriculture - Commissioner

Salima Sugar Factory Ready

Rwanda: RAB Seeks Ways to Increase Fish Production

Tanzania Inaugurates China Funded Gas Pipeline

Tanzania on Saturday officially inaugurated a 535-kilometer China funded gas pipeline, reported Xinhua. The pipeline built with a $1.33-billion concessional loan from the Export-Import Bank of China transports natural gas from Tanzania's southern region of Mtwara to Dar es Salaam. Turnkey hydropower plant to be constructed in Africa

 The Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa (SEFA) has approved a US$965,000 grant to support the preparation of a turnkey hydropower plant in Saltinho, Guinea Bissau hydropower  The plant is expected to have a capacity of 20MW, said AfDB. Petra Diamonds injects US$22 million into Mwadui mine operations

Petra Diamonds has earmarked US$22 million for capital spending in two years at its Williamson mine at Mwadui in Shinyanga, which last fiscal year produced 202,265 carats, The Guardian has established.   Reliable sectoral sources said US$17 million will be injected into the operation in the current financial year, which started this June.
