East Africa Business Council to Search for Investment in Northern Corridor

 The East African Business Council will commission a study in January to identify investment opportunities on the Northern Corridor. Construction on Mombasa’s port to begin in early 2017

RHINO RESOURCES ACQUIRES TWO OFFSHORE BLOCKS IN EAST AFRICA

Egypt Expanding LNG Infrastructure

Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum recently revealed a US$324 million investment into infrastructure projects that will increase the country’s capacity to transfer and handle petroleum products in Ain Sokhna. Tanzania: Aminex Secures Another Six Month Loan Extension

Final well maintenance work is currently in progress to bring Kiliwanie North-1 on stream Dublin-listed oil and gas firm Aminex has secured a further six month extension for the repayment of its $7.6 million corporate loan facility to allow it to continue work at its Kiliwani North gas field in Tanzania. Intrepid Mines Invests U.S.$40 Million in Kitumba Project

Intrepid Mines, an Australian company, has spent more than US$40 million on drilling and exploration works on the Kitumba Mine project located in Mumbwa District.   Intrepid Board representative and non-executive director, Richard Baumfield said the Australian Stock Exchange-listed firm underwent restructuring and had since merged with Blackthorn Resources to acquire a 100 per cent stake in the Kitumba Mine which potentially contains copper deposits.   Mr Baumfield said.... Kogi to Commission 1.6 Billion Mega Motor Park Soon

Petrol Is Nigeria's Biggest Import in Q3

Sonangol and Eni Sign Deal for Refinery Optimization

JA Solar to supply solar modules in Africa
