IMX Advances Tanzania Graphite Spin-Out, Listing Planned For May

U.S.$2.5 Million Renewable Energy Project Launched by Icipe in Kenya

R5 Billion Solar Plant Opens in South Africa

Pretoria — The R5 billion Bokpoort concentrated solar plant (CSP) has officially been launched in Groblershoop, Northern Cape.   Trade and Industry Minister Rob Davies welcomed the major investment by ACWA Power, a Saudi Arabian company.   "[The] project instils confidence in government's long term infrastructure roll out, providing energy access, contributing to economic, community and sustainable development," he said at the launch of the plant on.... Kenya: Design for New Mombasa Bridge Construction Begins

Nairobi — The government through the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has kicked off the design for the construction of the Mombasa Gate Bridge.   The Ministry says the Survey team arrived on Monday to start their work, of which the first phase will be conducted until July this year while the second phase will go up to February 2017.   "The design study commences on 14th March, 2016 and the final report and designs will be ready by end of March.... Kinshasa: Congo Shelves New Mining Tax Law

Six New Solar Power Plants to be Commissioned in Algeria

Kenya Maritime Authority: Maritime Policy To Boost Trade

Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA) is implementing a maritime policy to boost investment in the sector. TANZANIA-UGANDA PIPELINE WORKS TO START IN AUGUST

9000 Kenyan Farmers Sign Deal with Bidco to Supply Soya Beans
