KNH to acquire advanced Tissue Typing Machine

Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) is set to acquire a KSh30 million Tissue Typing Machine before the end of the year.   The machine which will be used to determine the genetic compatibility of the donor and recipient before carrying out transplants will save on costs used to take samples overseas for testing.   This breakthrough makes KNH the first and only facility in the country to obtain the advanced machine.   Although transplantation cannot take place until.... Kenyan scientist introduce software to predict drought

Small scale farmers will now be able to accurately predict drought conditions, so that they are able to plan for it accordingly.   A Kenyan scientist from Central University of Technology (CUT) in Bloemfontein has developed software to predict drought up to four years.   Once in the market, the technology will be affordable for small scale farmers.    South Africa has been in the grip of a devastating drought.   Low maize yields have forced the country.... Tanzania: Investment Centre Targets U.S.$5 Billion FDI Inflows By 2020

Kenya says visit by Japanese PM to boost ties

Africa: Government Eyes Major Oil Trading Hub in Tanga

DUPONT PIONEER TO EXPAND CORN PRODUCTION IN AFRICA

Tanzania in efforts to reduce greenhouse gases: official

Kenya: New Sh10 Billion International Airport to Be Constructed in Embu
