Kenya Power to use WhatsApp groups to stay in touch with consumers

Mega housing projects changing face of Mtwapa

 A new housing development by the Kenya Medical Association is changing the face of Mtwapa in Kilifi Country. The Sh1 billion complex consists of 20 blocks, each with eight two-bedroom apartments on a five-acre plot located just after Greenwood Resort.   It was completed in June and is ready for occupation. Tea farmers to get second bonus pay of Sh36.26 per kilo

 Small holder tea farmers under the Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA) will now get a bonus of Sh36.26 per kilo of green leaf as the second payment for the financial year 2015/2016.   This brings the total bonus payment to the farmers for the full year to Sh50.26 per kilo after an initial payment of Sh14 per kilo. Kenya to invest Sh20bn in agriculture over five years

 Kenya plans to invest Sh20 billion in the agricultural sector in the next five years to improve the interests of farmers in the country.   This was announced by President Uhuru Kenyatta when officially opening the sixth Africa Green Revolution Forum in Nairobi.   President Kenyatta said the move is intended to facilitate more than 150,000 farmers with access to markets, finance and insurance for machinery among others.   He noted that heavy investment in.... Volkswagen to start assembling cars in Kenya

 Local assembly of motor vehicles has received a big boost after Volkswagen South Africa signed a deal with the government, to assemble vehicles in Thika.
