The ENI group wants to use different methods for natural gas exploration in the Rovuma basin in northern Mozambique and production is expected to start in 2019, the Managing Director of the company for the region said Wednesday in Maputo.

In a bid that will help meet growing demand for electricity in the countries at the south of Africa, the University of Zambia is planning to venture in constructing solar energy laboratories. Prem Jain, head of energy, environment and research at the university (Energy, Environment and Research Group), has said that the project will also avail an opportunity for students to qualify to work in related fields. This is because it will avail the needed skills.

The Sh12 billion Turbi-Moyale Road is 40 per cent complete, the Kenya National Highways Authority has said
The project is the third and last phase of the Mombasa-Nairobi-Addis Ababa Road Corridor Development project. Kenha said movement of goods and services will be enhanced once the project is completed.
