Kenya: Brookhouse Starts Building Its Second Campus in Nairobi

 Brookhouse School has kicked off construction of its second Kenyan campus in a multi-million shilling expansion project, which will double the institution's student capacity from the current 800.

Africans Seeking Health-Care in India Draw Hospitals to Kenya

India and Japan look to African oil and gas for energy security

 Dr Anil Bhandari, an independent consultant and former director of exploration for ONGC, said that India currently produces 2.3 per cent of the world's total energy but 17 per cent of its crude oil imports, essential for meeting energy security needs across multiple sectors, come from Africa. Australian Company Granted License for Chilalo Graphite Project

 The Tanzanian Ministry of Energy and Minerals recently granted a 10-year mining license to Australian resource company Graphex Mining (ASX:GPX) for the Chilalo graphite project in south-east Tanzania.

The mining license has been granted for a period of 10 years and covers an area of 10sq. km (the Shimba graphite deposit at Chilalo).
