    Chinese telecom firm Huawei has launched an integrated solar energy solution for Kenyan households amid a quest to promote carbon neutrality in the country.

    CEO of Huawei Kenya Will Meng said the launch of LUNA 2000, the flagship product of Huawei FusionSolar Residential Smart PV Solution, will ensure that residential premises have access to affordable and cleaner sources of energy.

    New drinking water kiosks designed by Boreal Light supply a school, a vocational training centre, a mosque, a tailoring shop and oil extraction facilities on the southern coast of Kenya. The drinking water is obtained from a new desalination system powered by a 15 kWh solar mini-grid.
