The official launching ceremony for the development of thirty streetlights was taken over by Kwale County President Fatuma Achani. The project is a focused development program designed to improve the city's infrastructure and residents' quality of life.
In order to enhance security and encourage night-time business activity, the Kwale County Administration has begun a street illumination project in the Vuga district of Tsimba Golini Ward. Governor Fatuma Achani unveiled the project, which entails installing thirty street lights, in Matuga Sub-county as part of an effort to solve the region's persistent security.
According to Achani, the program will increase resident safety while fostering an atmosphere that permits enterprises to function after hours. The upcoming street illumination project will create a safer place for our people and greatly enhance confidence in Vuga, especially at night, she stated.
By extending working hours, better lighting will help local vendors, expanding household earnings and bolstering the local economy, she continued. The proposal was hailed by the locals. According to Mariam Honza, the project would boost Vuga town's development while enhancing confidence.
We are much relieved by this project. In addition to enhancing protection, it would help Vuga town develop and provide many locals with more commercial options, she said. In order to encourage equal growth, she pushed the county administration to expand comparable development initiatives to other areas of Kwale County.
