Kinshasa: Congo Shelves New Mining Tax Law

AFRICA's largest copper producer, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has reportedly suspended consideration for a new mining tax law until the prices of the metal improve.

Triton Minerals to Develop Graphite Mine in Mozambique

The Australian mining company Triton Minerals, which holds the rights to graphite and vanadium deposits in the northern Mozambican province of Cabo Delgado, announced on 1 March that it is to focus on developing its graphite deposits at Ancuabe.
