  • Eni gets approval for floating LNG Plant in Mozambique

     Italy's Eni said on Wednesday it has won approval from the Mozambique government to build its planned Coral floating liquefied natural gas plant.

     
    The company, which aims to sell all the LNG from the plant to British oil company BP, is expected to make a final investment decision this year but has now overcome one of the biggest hurdles.
     
  • $1.9 billion to be invested in fertilizer plant by Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation

    The Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation has announced that it will invest in a fertilizer plant to be set Kilwa division Lindi district German investors Ferostaal Industrial Project GmbH at a cost of $1.9 billion.

  • Quantum Power to construct gas storage facility in Africa

     Quantum Power and Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) have signed an agreement for the construction and operation of the Liquefied Natural Gas storage facility in Ghana. The facility will be constructed at Tema.

  • African Nation to connect 1.2 million homes with natural gas

     Egypt plans to connect 1.2 million homes with natural gas as in the Financial year 2016/2017, state owned corporation  Natural Gas Holding Company has said.

     
    According to the state owned corporation Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) they have already done preliminary studies that will enable them deliver the gas connection to the homes.
