    Irish oil & gas explorer Aminex has raised £1.85m (€2m) in share capital to boost up its work in Tanzania. The company provided 127,226,781 ordinary new shares at a placing price of Stg 1.45p per share.


    Funds raised by the group will be used to speed up development over its Kiliwani development in Tanzania, as it takes advantage of debilitated market conditio. . .

    Energy Tanzania Limited (ETL) is owned by Dr. Reginald Mengi, the well-known Tanzanian entrepreneur and philanthropist. It has been announced by Swala Oil & Gas (Tanzania) plc that they have entered into an ultimate agreement for an initial investment of US$30 from Energy Tanzania Limited. 

    Tanzania to come up with HydroPower plant

    It has been announced that the hydropower plant preparations at Stiegler's Gorge in Tanzania are underway. This hydropower plant preparations are proposed for 2,100MW Rufiji hydropower plant.

     

    This preparations will benefit the country as the project will have a gross output of 5,920GWh and also it is expected that the project will double the country's power generation cap. . .
