Bryand's passion project provides dental aid to children

Work in the the Greater Ozarks Center for Advanced Professional Studies (GO CAPS) at Monett High School has had residual benefits, as shown in the work of senior Ashley Bryand.

Ashley's GO CAPS passion project centered around her passion for helping others, her interest in the field of dentistry, and her desire to provide dental hygiene supplies to children in Africa.

Her research led her to partner with the organization, Share Africa, which allows donors to ship their own supplies directly to needy villages.

Ashley was a student in the Technology Solutions strand of GO CAPS in the 2015-2016 school year. In addition to working on real-world projects with business clients, students developed individual passion projects where they could develop solutions to issues where they held a personal interest and passion.
