About Buildexpo Tanzania 2026

Buildexpo Tanzania 2026 on Building & Construction Products, Equipment & Machinery, is Tanzania’s largest trade event held annually in Dar es Salaam. The exhibition attracts companies from more than 30 countries and visitors from all over East & Central Africa, thus giving exhibitors an excellent opportunity to explore several countries in one time.

Tanzania has emerged as a major regional trade centre and also is positioned to be a major gateway into the African continent. According to a recent report, the building industry in Tanzania is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.5%, driven by increased public and private investments in infrastructure development, urbanization, industrialization and housing demand.

According to the World Bank, Tanzania's imports of goods and services amounted to $10.9 billion of which $2.5 billion (23%) were imports of capital goods such as machinery, equipment, vehicles etc that are essential for the development of the building and construction sector. Tanzania offers a very friendly and business atmosphere to foreign investors. Duties are considerably low and re-exports to neighbouring countries are either very low or exempted.

The upcoming edition of the 27th Buildexpo Tanzania 2026 will be held from 23rd to 25th September 2026 at the Diamond Jubilee Expo Centre, Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.
