WFP Pledges to Boost Tanzania's Maize Markets

The visiting Executive Director of WFP (The World Food Programme), David Beasley confirmed that they plan to buy 75000 metric tons of maize from Tanzania, while he was in Dar es Salaam this week. This is in line with the UN organizations ongoing exercise to expand market reliability for the corns from Tanzania.

Sesame producers are profiting from the product development, on account of a Farm Africa Project.

During the first four months Kenya’s food imports grew by 30.10 percent, as compared to last year during this quarter. The Swiss-Belhotel has joined hands with the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) from Dubai and also the Zanzibar Crown Hotel and Resort to take over managerial control of the Swiss-Belresort Zanzibar.
