Kiambu Mall To Open Shop this December

Posted on :Friday , 6th October 2017

The Kiambu Mall project in Kenya is in its final phases of constructions and will soon be open to the public. It was orignally scheduled to open in August but the date was later moved to December afetr a few setbacks during construction.

Mugaa Investment Developers Chairman, Peter Burugu blamed the delay of material shipment and the political ambigiuity for the delay. However, construction work is now in full swing and the developers aim to open shop before Christmas in December.

“This project has set high standards for future developers coming here. We intend to give an alternative to the shopping needs for people travelling from Kiambu to Nairobi,” said Mr Burugu.

This new mall will be home to global brands such as Botswana retailers Choppies, whi will be the mall’s anchor tenants. Other tenants of the mall will be Vivo, Nairobi Hospital, Java, Ashley’s, and Commercial Bank of Africa among others.

Nairobi Hospital will also be having a well equipped mini-hospital complete with an ambulance service. Both will do a part to increase the attraction of the mall.

The development will include offices on the last two floors and the remaining three will be used as shopping spaces. The mall will be equiped with elevators and escalators to facilitate the shoppers.

There are a number of business developments currently taking place in Kiambu, especially in the real estate sector. Those include Migaa, Edenville, Five Star developments, Runda paradise and others surrounding Kiambu town.
