Kenyan Market Expansion For Neosun Energy

With system capacities ranging from 200kW to 10MW, the expansion aims to provide commercial and industrial (C&I) projects with affordable and sustainable energy solutions.

According to Neosun, the country's energy sector "presents both challenges and opportunities," making its debut into Kenya especially appropriate. Even though green energy accounts for more than 80% of its power needs, severe energy shortages persist in many areas.

Neosun stated that, more than half a billion people in sub-Saharan Africa do not have consistent access to electricity and frequent power outages cause disruptions to business operations and raise energy expenses.

Businesses in remote places are forced to use expensive diesel generators since these areas are still cut off from the national grid.

“Kenya is one of the top five fastest-growing economies in Africa.” stated Ilya Likhov, CEO of Neosun Energy.

Businesses in Kenya, however, are still experiencing shortages of energy supply, especially in remote locations. Neosun Energy's goal is to make solar energy accessible and reasonably priced for these businesses.

Neosun’s belief is that solar energy will enable local businesses to move beyond fossil fuels while also   increasing  their profitability, as the Kenyan government has committed to reducing dependence on   fossil fuels.

Furthermore, solar solutions will revolutionise off-grid communities, since they present a special chance to establish enterprises in such isolated locations.
