Dongfeng vehicles from China arrive in Kenya with local EV assembly

Dongfeng Motor, a Chinese automaker, has started preparing to build its first electric cars in Kenya.

Tanzania Has Signed a $320 Million Deal With Siemens to develop a 177MW Power Project.

Tanzania has established a memorandum of understanding with Siemens Energy, located in Sweden, to create gas-fueled power plants with a total capacity of 177 megawatts, which is estimated to cost $320 million. The initiative, supported by CRDB Bank, entails the production of equipment in Tanzania, with the goal of commissioning it by the conclusion of 2027.
