Second Phase of Sh204.4 Billion Solar Project Set for Completion in 17 Months

As part of the second phase of a solar power project being carried out in the area, residents of Ngunga village in Kishapu District will benefit from clean water and a new health facility. For years, the two programs have been among the most significant issues facing the community. He stated that additional investors, particularly in the industrial sector,are anticipated to be drawn to the extended project. This project would attract investors to build businesses in Kishapu because of the consistent expansion of generation capacity and the availability of reliable power. He added that during the project's early stages, some 300 residents benefited. According to Ngunga Hamlet Chairperson Musa Masesa, the initiative has given the hamlet, which had long felt forgotten, prominence, and residents were already reaping the benefits of power.
