Tatu City has appointed China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) as the main contractor for the construction of Jabali Towers, a major mixed-use development within its Special Economic Zone in Kiambu County, near Nairobi.
The project will span approximately 88,000 square metres and feature two residential towers of 25 and 36 storeys, a 150-room hotel, Grade A office space, and 35 retail and dining outlets. The first residential tower has already achieved 75% pre-sales, with apartment prices starting from KSh9.7 million, attracting both local and international buyers as well as investors.
CRBC, which is also delivering key infrastructure projects in Kenya such as the Talanta Sports City stadium, will oversee the construction of Jabali Towers. The development is expected to generate more than 2,000 employment opportunities during both the construction and operational phases, with jobs across hospitality, retail, office, and property management sectors.
The project will leverage Tatu City's well-established infrastructure, including roads, water, electricity, and fibre-optic connectivity. Jabali Towers forms part of the city's broader expansion strategy, which includes additional residential, commercial, and educational developments. Upcoming projects include Wellington College International Kenya, scheduled to open in 2028, and the Tatu Wildlife Sanctuary.
According to Tatu City developer Rendeavour, the project reflects its commitment to partnering with leading contractors to deliver high-quality developments that contribute to Kenya's long-term urban growth. Today, Tatu City is home to over 110 businesses, more than 7,000 residents, around 3,500 completed or ongoing homes, and a daytime population exceeding 35,000 people.
