TMHS Aims to Serve the Entire Continent as it Celebrates its 15th Anniversary

Posted on : Monday , 8th December 2025

With the creation of six businesses to provide healthcare and environmental services throughout the continent, TINDWA Medical Health Services (TMHS) commemorated its 15 years of providing health services in Tanzania.

Speaking at the launch in Dar es Salaam to commemorate the institution's 15th anniversary, Dr. Chakow Halfan, CEO of TMHS Group, informed local media outlets that his company is a Tanzanian supplier of all healthcare services, including hospitals, medical equipment distribution, health professional deployment, all environmental services and waste management services.

According to him, the organization, which had previously operated as a single entity, will now comprise six businesses that will offer various healthcare services to all Africans.

"Today, we commemorate the institution's fifteen years of transformation. We've worked very hard. We were one business. We are now split up into six entities as of this year. We are introducing these six businesses today. Every business will function differently. We won't be referred to as TMHS going forward. We will be referred to as TMHS Group instead," Dr. Halfan stated.

He mentioned that TMHS Medical Supply is going to be involved with the distribution of medications and medical equipment to African nations, West and environmental organizations will be involved in the environment, Emergency Medical Service will supply emergency services, Health Solution will supply services in health centers and hospitals and consultation and Safe Solution will provide security services.

"With these adjustments, we hope to take the lead in Africa rather than SADC. Up until now, we have been in charge of SADC. In this duty, we were regarded as leaders. In terms of the services we offer, we will now lead all of Africa."

He continued. "The market and need are great, the community needs ambulances and there are enough of them available every day. It has been tough to afford the expense. As is well known, Kenya and Tanzania are the two largest markets in East Africa."

According to Dr. Halfan, the introduction of universal health insurance, which is beginning in Tanzania, would expand the market due to the high demand and rapid growth. They offer services to other nations because of this. The market for emergency services is growing and there is a tremendous need.
