Salvador Caetano introduces the new generation Ford Raptor & Everest in the Kenyan market

Posted on : Wednesday , 10th January 2024

Ford Motor is the second-biggest American automaker in Kenya, and Caetano Kenya, a car dealership with Portuguese support, has stepped up its efforts to promote the sale of Ford vehicles there. This happens after a successful deal to distribute Ford cars solely in Kenya was signed.

This week saw the opening of a brand-new Ford Showroom on Mombasa Road by Caetano Kenya, a group of businesses owned by the Salvador Caetano group in Portugal. The showroom will act as a location for Ford vehicle maintenance and sales.

Ford and Caetano's recent partnership offers both businesses a new opportunity to increase their market share in Kenya.

This partnership has a lot of potential because it takes advantage of Caetano's extensive network and knowledge of marketing and selling well-known brands in this area. With the introduction of the most recent versions of the Ford Transit Bus, Ranger, Raptor, and Everest, Caetano has already started its marketing campaign.

CMC Motors used to own the Ford franchise in Kenya.

Pedro Campos, managing director of Caetano Kenya, praised the collaboration.

"We are glad to include Ford in our portfolio of brands. We anticipate that our partnership will continue to grow Ford's market share in the SUV and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) segments, where it is currently among the best-performing vehicles," he said.

"At Caetano, our mission is to provide our clients with superior services that go above and beyond their expectations to guarantee the best possible road trip experience. We extend a warm greeting to both current and potential Ford clients.

Through the Caetano Express network, Caetano said it will offer after-sales services for the Ford brand throughout Kenya.

According to Caetano, the Ford Motor Company will fully outfit these service centers, ensuring the availability of genuine Ford parts.

In Kenya, Caetano Kenya is the exclusive local distributor of Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Renault Trucks, and Renault vehicles.

With its headquarters located in Portugal, the Salvador Caetano Group has been in the automotive industry for more than 75 years.

It is found in more than 100 nations in both Africa and Europe.

Caetano Kenya unites a number of businesses that are part of the Salvador Caetano group in Portugal. These businesses engage in a variety of automotive-related activities, such as car distribution and maintenance as well as car rentals.
