Angola Strengthen Cooperation With China in Mining Sector

Luanda — The Angolan Minister of Geology and Mining, Francisco Queiroz, met Tuesday in Beijing with his Chinese Counterpart, Jiang Daming with whom he discussed issues linked to strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in Geology and Mining domain.

According to a press release from Angolan Embassy to China that reached Angop Tuesday, besides the meeting with his counterpart, the Angolan official met also with Director of Geologic Services, Hu Ping.

The Angolan minister recalled that in the field of Geology and Mining there is already a cooperation that has been developed in terms of geological and mining reporting in the National Geologies Plan (Planageo), launched in May 2014 and will allow geological and mining survey of Angola and help diversify the sources of funds of the national economy.

Francisco Queiroz said within the aim of his visit to China he will testify Wednesday in Lang Fang town, Beijing outskirts, the end of the first course of Angolan students under the National Geology Plan (Planageo).
