THE Minister of Industry and Trade, Dr Abdallah Kigoda, has challenged members of the newly appointed board of directors of the National Development Corporation (NDC) to work together in ensuring that the corporation achieves its intended goals and objectives.

He made the remarks in Dar es Salaam when launching the new board. Dr Kigoda said their appointment confirmed that it was important that they work together with the government and have the same understanding of the focus of the organization for its current and future prospects.

 

"The organization has an important role to play in speeding up the development of the country, particularly in the industrial sector; therefore, there is no doubt that NDC has a vital role in the economy which cannot be achieved without big projects in the production of goods," he said. He congratulated Mr Christant Mzindakaya for being re-appointed as chairman of the board
